Laibach

Oh Laibach… How the heroes of the 80s/90s became a disgrace and a parody of themselves, hated both by pro-Ukraine and pro-russians. Of course, nothing new, Laibach announced a concert in Kyiv which was cancelled a couple of days after, and of course they are massive cunts… But, let’s remind ourselves how we went from point A to point Z.

Things started online on 28 February 2022 with Laibach’s first reaction since the start of the full scale invasion of Ukraine by russia, 4 days before.

Of course, quoting massive douche Noam Chomsky and bringing out NATO as responsible was the most intelligent thing to do for them.

And of course, that triggered a massive amount of critics (and obviously, a few of the usual useless anticonformist idiots saying ‘yaaaay, russia!’, those same useless idiots whose selective memory keeps forgetting what Chomsky was saying about unvaxxed people).

1st March 2022, Laibach announces the cancellation of their moscow concert, because unfortunately they can’t fly there.

That’s when the community manager of Laibach started to post comments of epic proportions which will take us faster to point Z.

Once you start a fire, you got to keep it burning, so after two days of intensely thinking about it, Laibach posted this. In caps. Without more comment.

And finally posted about “hey, get us to play in Ukraine”, because the urge was strong after being Number One in North Korea (which is an achievement that Bono didn’t get), to be also Number One in Ukraine. But in the end Bono managed to be Number One, as he can’t stand to be Number Two – as we all know.

Of course, that wasn’t received very well after the previous posts and comments they had.

Oh no.
They did it again. More Noam Chomsky.
Kudos to that guy for the best response ever.

We’re now 16 September 2022 and French magazine Tecnikart releases an interview with Laibach that starts straight with the subject of Ukraine. It’s in french, but thankfully Google Translate is our friend. And oh my, how you should have shut up again.

From the beginning of the 1980s you anticipated the dislocation of Yugoslavia. Was the war in Ukraine avoidable?
Laibach: It could have been avoided if politicians and diplomacy had been prepared to work for peace. But this is clearly not the case, and it now appears that a reasonable compromise is in no one’s interest. Russia’s security demands were quite basic, justified and rational, and the conflict could have been resolved through negotiation. If Europe had really wanted to help Ukraine, it could have prevented the war. On the contrary, by synchronizing with the United States, it contributed to the escalation and metamorphosis of Putin’s “special operation” into a proxy war against Russia on Ukrainian lands. Although Putin appears to be the main criminal aggressor in this war, the blame lies primarily with the European Union, and especially the United States, which has openly pursued a policy of arrogant exclusion against Russia over the past few years. decades, even when Moscow seriously proposed cooperation and integration in economic, military and political spheres. The most important victim remains the Ukrainian people, but Russia itself (at least the part of the Russian population which is not hostile to Europe) will suffer from this war, the food and energy crises will be lasting and deadly for Europe and many other countries, without forgetting the cultural damage. This is why this war must be brought to an end as quickly as possible.

And how to get out of the conflict?
Once again, only and exclusively through intense diplomatic efforts, serious discussions during which, beyond Ukraine and Russia, at least the European Union, China, probably Turkey and especially the USA should get involved. Continuing the war only amplifies it and increases the devastation of Ukraine, destabilizing the international economy and the political situation. But the interests of the military industry once again seem more powerful than peace initiatives.

Now before we go on with the next part, let’s have a flashback thanks to Anton Shekhovtsov

So yep, Ivan Novak from Laibach called the annexation of Crimea by russia a “reunification”. Awesome, dude.

And thus, the promo stunt for Laibach – or should we say, the real shitshow – begins.

Obviously triggering both sides (vatniks names have not been hidden, because fuck them), mixed with provocative comments from Laibach’s CM.

The publicity stunt expanded with articles from The Guardian and the Washington Post while the uproar was going on from both sides.

We’re 24 February 2023 and Laibach posts an “explanation” written by an artificial intelligence. They couldn’t do it themselves, too busy being arty  and shit. But at the same time, the venue was already cancelling Laibach’s performance. I guess the AI didn’t see that coming?

Laibach announced the cancellation on the next day, under the laughter of both pro-Ukraine and pro-russia.

Let’s end up this post quoting the article by Roman Cherevko posted on
https://romancherevko.medium.com/laibach-in-kyiv-controversy-ethics-politics-and-awareness-866073190269

There has been a lot of clamor this last week around the announcement of a show of Laibach, a veteran industrial band from Slovenia, in the Ukrainian capital. The concert with the attention-grabbing title “Eurovision” — alluding to the annual song contest that will take place in May in London despite the last year’s victory of Ukraine’s Kalush Orchestra — is supposed to be held on March 31, 2023, at Bel Etage Music Hall that, just over a month ago, has provoked another scandal by inviting the Ukrainian hardcore/nu metal band Skinhate known for their misogynistic and homophobic lyrics from the early 2000s.

The announcement aroused outrage among Ukrainians and Ukraine’s supporters abroad for a number of reasons: false promotional claims, band’s imagery, and their statements regarding the culprits of the current war.

Let’s look into these three points and try to figure out whether the indignation is justified and whether Laibach should perform in Ukraine.

An Honest Mistake or a PR Stunt?

The news of the scheduled gig first appeared on February 22 in several Ukrainian outlets where it was claimed to be “the first big concert of a foreign band since February 24, 2022”. A few hours later this claim was mindlessly repeated by a number of international publications including The Guardian.

Many social media commentators pointed out the fact that, in addition to the subway performance by U2’s Bono and the Edge in May 2022, Samsas Traum, Rome, Die Weisse Rose, as well as a number of lesser-known artists, all performed in Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities during this last year, and it’s not really obvious that the Laibach show would really be much “bigger” than any of those.

The band then recognized the mistake, blaming it on the organizer’s promotional text, and some (but not all) publications, including The Guardian, subsequently fixed it, but many were left questioning the band’s intentions.

In 2015, Laibach claimed to be the first Western band to perform in North Korea, which is still often cited whenever the band gets mentioned. However, a quick research shows that at least the rockers Peer Günt and Sielun Veljet from capitalist Finland played in North Korea in the late 1980s. Was Google Search less efficient in 2015 than it is now? On the contrary, it must have been easier to find this information back then, because today you have to sift through dozens of Laibach-related links to find out whether someone else ever played in Pyongyang.

The fact that this news quickly appeared in various media in almost identical wording, while the other performances never received such a broad coverage — except for the one by Bono and the Edge, which is understandable given their popularity, — makes one suspect a paid promotional campaign. And, while we’re at it, it also tells us something about certain media. A reputable outlet like The Guardian should better check their facts instead of blindly publishing everything they’ve been sent.

Whether or not the part about being the first originated from the organizer, given that the latter admitted in a Facebook post that it was the band who first contacted him, and not the other way round, it looks like the band is really interested in playing in Kyiv and creating a lot of uproar about it.

Laibach will not profit from the show directly: the proceeds are going to be donated to a charity (which hasn’t been named yet). But, I bet, they didn’t earn much in Pyongyang either. As a marketer would tell you, a properly organized hype, even at an immediate loss, can pay off thousandfold in the future.

All this raises profound moral concerns, which are only amplified by the other points considered below.

Imagery Matters?

Laibach’s art — music, lyrics, graphics, and visual appearance — is centered around incendiary totalitarian and militaristic aesthetics. There is no overt propaganda of any ideology or regime, but rather an art performance that imitates propaganda.

Due to the apparent ambiguity, the band gained following among both the far-right and the far-left. Some on the right will tell you Laibach is right-wing, but too refined and intellectualized for the profane. Others accuse them of being communists. Similarly, some lefties call Laibach comrades, while others accuse them of crypto-fascism.

Laibach was allegedly censored and banned in totalitarian socialist Yugoslavia — which their homeland was part of in the 1980s, when the band started, — at least that’s what their official story says. On the other hand, they were allowed to perform in totalitarian communist North Korea — and someone must have really taken pains to convince the Little Rocket Man of their ideological decency and loyalty.

Moreover, Laibach influenced the entire martial industrial scene, which is often associated with right-wing ideologies, although there are numerous far-left and seemingly apolitical martial acts.

We’ll get to their actual views in the next section, but it’s hard to deny that, even if they don’t glorify totalitarian regimes, their imagery, inadvertently or not, contributes to romanticizing them, so much so that many listeners take it seriously.

Provocation, intellectual sophistication, putting-on-airs, and role playing are all inherent to art, and especially to the avant-garde. The question is whether it’s appropriate for a band with totalitarian and militaristic imagery to perform in a country that is at war with an aggressive totalitarian neighbor.

So What Do They Really Believe In, If Anything?

Laibach’s compatriot Slavoj Žižek, a left-wing Slovenian philosopher, is known for defending the band against accusations of fascism on several occasions. He used the concept of subversive affirmation to explain that, by grotesquely overemphasizing totalitarian ideologies, they actually challenge and subvert them.

The band’s interviews and public statements are more often than not vague, pretentious, ambiguous, leaving considerable room for interpretations and misinterpretations, and reinforcing the “true anti-trend underground act” image.

However, the general impression is that they indeed don’t extol totalitarianism, but rather mock and expose it. Yet they don’t stop at it. They talk about “democratic totalitarianism”, call the United States one of the most totalitarian countries, and bash America and NATO as the roots of the world’s tribulations.

Although they won’t accept any labels, their critique of capitalism and the state per se as well as their NSK State venture — a “stateless state” proclaimed by Neue Slowenische Kunst, an art collective founded by Laibach, — evoke anarchist associations.

In view of this, it’s not surprising that they, like many anarchists, would berate a symbol of capitalism (the US) and a symbol of militarism (NATO). However, that’s just following the crowd and focusing on symbols while ignoring the reality. A free world without states and borders is impossible while there exist aggressive regimes like those of Russia, China, North Korea, or Iran, as well as people who don’t respect the others’ basic rights for life, health, freedom, fairly acquired property, and dignity. Abolish NATO, armies, governments, borders, and law enforcement — and these vultures will rush at the easy prey. Not to mention that the existence of NATO currently prevents conflicts between its own members like in the case of Türkiye and Greece or Hungary and Romania.

But even that in and of itself is not the main reason for the outrage. After February 24, 2022, Laibach repeatedly implied, in their social media commentaries as well as interviews, that the US and NATO are the culprits of the war in Ukraine who “pushed Putin into a corner” and “forced him” into unreasonable action, or probably even initiated the conflict.

Coupled with the band’s 2018 interview to a pro-Kremlin Russian media where they affirmed their readiness to perform in occupied Crimea and Donbas, their 2006 Russian anthem cover song, their recurrent curtsies to the “great (imperialistic) Russian culture”, and their statement about logistic hurdles being the only reason for canceling their Russian shows in 2022, this unsurprisingly made people suspect them of sympathizing with Russia and pushing pro-Kremlin narratives.

After all the angry commentaries that forced the organizer to ask the band to make an official statement to clarify their position, Laibach responded with a “message to the Ukrainian public”, where they assured everyone of their support for Ukraine, condemned Putin, but did not disavow any of their previous statements. The message ended with a strange remark, “Text was composed and translated with the help of AI”, which could easily be perceived as mockery and a pinnacle of cynicism and make one wonder whether this time they are more honest than when they had to flatter the Juche regime to perform in North Korea.

The statement satisfied the organizer, but not the majority of Ukrainians.

To B Or Not to B?

The “B” above is for Boycott.

So, Laibach declares support for Ukraine, yet demonstrates dubious ethics and shady political opinions. What should we make of it?

As long as they show support for Ukraine and don’t root for Putin or justify the genocide, there are no legal reasons to ban them entry into the country or forbid them to perform in a democratic society, which Ukraine strives to be. And, of course, no one is entitled to commit violence against them as some commentators suggested.

However, what Ukrainians need is awareness. They have to be aware of who they are dealing with if they are considering attending at the show.

Artists have the right to provoke. They don’t have to meet the public’s expectations. Art must be free. However, the public also has the right to respond to provocations and to decide whether to accept or cancel an artist.

Political views per se are not a reason for canceling. There is no “one and only” party line in a democratic society. However, there are values that a democratic society agrees upon, and when statements or deeds put these values in danger, the society can react appropriately to protect its values. Thus, when your statements align with malicious propaganda — especially when this propaganda is adversarial to the society in question, — be prepared to assume the consequences.

The above-mentioned bands Rome and Die Weisse Rose, who played in Kyiv before Laibach, are also politically and intellectually sophisticated. Being part of the martial industrial and neofolk scenes, they were probably even influenced by Laibach, or at least by those who were influenced by Laibach.

A cursory glance may see right-wing aesthetics, but a closer inspection reveals references and dedications to left-wing activists. It may well be that they’re not fond of the US and NATO, but they are perfectly clear as to their position regarding this war and its culprits, they never made harmful statements that resonate with malicious propaganda, and they have already visited Ukraine several times in 2022 and 2023, not always with concerts, but invariably with humanitarian aid, yet never needed fancy advertisements.

If Ukrainians are aware of all these moral and political ramifications, they will be able to decide whether they can relate to them, and then they will vote with their feet and wallets. And we’ll see whether this will really be such a “big” concert as promised in the advertisements.

Update: As of February 27, the show was cancelled.

The Serbian DANAS interview (December 2022)

This interview was published on the Serbian online magazine Danas and translate below into english

What is your stance on the war in Ukraine, do you think this conflict could have been avoided?

– Of course, this could have been avoided if politics and political diplomacy had ever truly been willing to work in the name of peace. But that is obviously not the case, and now it seems that a reasonable peace is simply no longer in anyone’s interest… If the EU and the USA had truly wanted to help Ukraine, they could have prevented the war. Russia’s security demands were essentially justified and rational, and the conflict in Ukraine could have been resolved through negotiations. Instead, the EU fully submitted to the aggressive and provocative geostrategic policy of the United States, contributed to its escalation, and helped turn the conflict in Ukraine – Putin’s “special operation” – into a cynical proxy war against Russia (and Europe!) on Ukrainian soil. Although Putin is definitely, at least it appears so, the main perpetrator and criminal aggressor in this war, a large part of the blame can also be placed on the EU, and especially the USA, which has openly pursued a largely exclusionary and arrogant policy toward Russia over the past decades, even when Moscow seriously offered cooperation and integration in the economic, military, and political spheres. In a certain sense, one could say that Putin, seemingly waging his own Cold War battle under the banner of historical Russian interests, was in fact created and maneuvered by Western and North Atlantic policy, and therefore it is no wonder that the Russian president is now jokingly called “NATO’s most valuable collaborator.” In any case, the greatest collateral victims of this conflict are the Ukrainian people, but Russia itself (at least the more modern, pro-European part of the Russian population) will also be a long-term victim of this war, and the consequences of the energy and food crises will be long-lasting and sometimes deadly for Europe and many other countries around the world. Not to mention the enormous cultural damage. Therefore, this conflict should be ended as soon as possible.

How do you comment on Russophobia?

Russophobia is certainly a disgusting phenomenon, like the phobia toward any other people and culture, especially toward such a significant culture as the Russian one. In addition to fantastic artists, writers, composers, architects, etc., from Russia or the Soviet Union, a large number of famous artists were actually born in Ukraine, for example Kazimir Malevich, Ilya Repin, Isaac Brodsky, Sonia Delaunay, Nikolai Gogol, Bulgakov, Joseph Conrad, Anna Akhmatova, Sacher-Masoch, Joseph Roth. Not all of them were considered Ukrainians, but they were certainly born or lived in that country for some time. Even some of the most famous Soviet political leaders were born in Ukraine, for example Nikita Khrushchev, Leonid Brezhnev, Mikhail Gorbachev, etc. Art and culture – even though we do not see ourselves entirely in that rank – should decisively act as a factor of connection and overcoming stupid prejudices. We are certainly ready, if necessary, to go into that battle and fight against it and against all those prejudices and phobias.

Big mouth strikes again

Yay. A quote from Morrissey! Zimone’s favorite artist which he not only rips off but literally rapes through his last record. But let’s not talk about Zimone’s pathetic vocal performances on that awful album which required an autotuner.

Rants #1

Dear Zimone, what’s the “lost cause”?

Ah, there we are… I guess we know who you’re talking of. Why don’t you name them…? We can : ROME, DIE WEISSE ROSE, MOINEAU, KAELTE, BAIN WOLFKIND, who all went to play charity concerts in Ukraine, OF THE WAND & THE MOON, who released a support album on Ukrainian label OLD CAPTAIN and the label must be STEELWORK?

Are you talking to yourself?

Are you talking to yourself?

Zimone is feeling lonely.

Zimone is feeling lonely and speaking to himself. At this point I would suggest him some depression treatment.

There you go boy! That’s the spirit. That will be shitty, but at least it will keep you busy and away from a computer keyboard.

Nope.

Rants #2 - but it was never about ideology <whine whine>

A little bit about Berlin - And what about Iraq?

“Just as a reminder of how much a douche I am” – signed, Zimone

And Navalny died - And what about Iraq?

But what about Gonzalo Lira? And what about Iraq?

Oh we know about Gonzalo Lira : a MAGA-supporter, conspiracy theorist, antisemite, con-man, mysoginist, rapist, wife-beater, who smoked two packs of cigarettes a day and refused medication because “muh antivaxxxx” but he certainly never was a journalist. Yeah, that’s Lira on the first pic. You can use that as a cover for your next Lust Zyndicate album, Zimone.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gonzalo_Lira

From 2017 onward, Lira was active on YouTube under the pseudonym Coach Red Pill (CRP), an allusion to Red Pill and Black Pill symbolism in the manosphere community. The content was misogynistic and anti-feminist in nature, appealing to incels. Lira posted videos with advice such as “never date a woman in her thirties” and argued that all women wanted was money, a house, and kids, as only child-rearing would biologically validate them. In one video, he advised viewers living in Western democracies to move to “a poor, underdeveloped country” due to the former’s supposed “totalitarian” deployment of COVID-19 vaccines. In November 2021, Lira deleted most of his CRP content and began posting under his legal name.

Following the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, Lira shifted the majority of his commentary to the war. Lira’s content was heavily pro-Russian, praising Russian military actions and denying Russian attacks on civilians, as well as doxxing Western journalists. His content, which has been described as Russian propaganda and disinformation, was amplified on social media by Kremlin-linked accounts and praised by Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.

https://vatniksoup.com/en/soups/141/

Gonzalo has tried all sorts of careers to make an easy buck. In the 90’s, he wrote corny spy-action books with characters such as “Duncan Idaho, the Langley roadrunner who skirts the line between brilliantly daring and foolishly reckless” in his hardly-a-bestseller, Acrobat.

He’s also co-written,produced & directed a campy action film Secuestro in 2005.After his failure as both an author & as a filmmaker,Lira disappeared from the public sphere, only to re-appear in 2010 as an “economic expert”, forecasting hyperinflation threatening the US dollar.

His predictions were published on a prestigious “He Wall Street” website. He was also contributing to Business Insider, a website known for publishing fake news and for allowing the use of anonymous sources “at any time for any reason”.

He’s also written articles for the far-right, libertarian blog ZeroHedge. Steve Keen, an Australian economist, described Gonzalo as an “over-promiser” and as an “under-deliverer”. He also described him as a “sleaze” who refashions himself as an expert on any chosen topic.

Then around 2017, during the peak of the so called “Red Pill Movement” on Reddit, Lira found a new opportunity in “guiding” young men in life and became known as the “CoachRedPill”. At this point he was almost 50-year-old geezer spreading ideas such as “women over 30 are ruined”, “all women only truly desire money”, and “the degenerate Western culture pushes them to chase only the hottest 15 % guys for meaningless sex”.

At the same time he’s selling digital seminars with topics ranging from dating to relationship advice.

He was relatively popular in the “manosphere”, and his Patreon still has almost 800 patrons, making him anything between 4000 and 8000 USD a month. His other Patreon makes him another 5500 USD a month.

The idea of the “decadent West” of course comes from Russian-spread propaganda, and at some point had made its way into the Red Pill community. Due to its contrarian views, the “manosphere” was also great breeding ground for conspiratorial and pro-Russian sentiment.

Lira was spreading COVID-19 conspiracy theories, while calling himself a “PureBlood” – someone who hasn’t taken the COVID-19 jabs. He’s also suggested that trying to start a family with anyone who’s had the vaccine is pointless since they are already infertile.

Around 2021 Reddit and other social media sites started censoring all “manosphere” related content, which naturally made Lira to move on to other things. He became a doomsayer, preaching about a “great war against China”, telling people to move to “poor and under-developed countries” since they “can’t afford to impose any totalitarian policies”. He’d allegedly been living in Kharkiv, Ukraine for some years before the war started. Lira’s wife is allegedly Ukrainian/Russian.

Around mid-February 2022, he was still confident that Russia wasn’t going to invade Ukraine and that it’s all just Western propaganda. He later insisted that he saw the invasion coming way before it happened.

When the full-scale invasion in February 2022 started, Gonzalo immediately became a professional analyst on the matter. During the first days, he said that “the commentary and analysis I post is without picking sides,” right after he’d picked the side of a genocidal maniac.

On 27 February 2022, he published a video defending Russia’s actions and plans for a regime change, and blaming the US for any destruction in Ukraine. His motivations for praising Russia are unknown, but it could be due to his need to feed his big ego and due to his need to be in the spotlight. Since the full-scale invasion, he’s basically just parroted the Russian propaganda on the war, for example saying that the Russians are “careful in not hitting civilian targets”, “Zelenskyy is a cokehead” and that the Bucha massacre was actually conducted by the Ukrainian State Secret Service, SBU. He’s also blamed Victoria Nuland for having “orchestrated the Euromaidan”. Lira was eventually detained by the SBU after he was taking pictures around Kharkiv. He allegedly gave up five other pro-Russian collaborators in exchange for house arrest or deportation.

He eventually chose deportation, was escorted to Poland, and allegedly moved to the Netherlands. There were also some rumors that he was decapitated by the SBU, which made his fellow propagandist, iEarlGrey, very upset.

Gonzalo is also a big fan of the worst combat analyst, Douglas Macgregor, whose out-of-this-world predictions he shares on almost daily basis. He’s also been interviewed by another pro-Kremlin propagandist, George Galloway.

To conclude: Lira is a grifter and an opportunist who’s always looking for a new ways to earn more money. He has an enormous and fragile ego, he’s extremely thin-skinned and gets upset when his shitty takes on Ukraine (or on anything) are challenged.

Like Jackson “Z” Hinkle, Lira’s a “Merchant of Rage”, making money from outrage and from contrarian views, which is why people should just ignore him.
Block, and move on.

And what about Assange? And what about Iraq?

“Honour the real fighters” – come on …. What about Iraq, Zimone?

https://vatniksoup.com/en/soups/269/

Let’s quote Vatnik soup again about Assange :

In today’s #vatniksoup, I’ll introduce an Australian hacker, publisher and activist, Julian Assange. He’s best-known as the founder of WikiLeaks, leaking hacked and stolen data, cooperating with the Russian intelligence, and for being under criminal investigation in the US.

Julian’s activism probably comes from his father, John Shipton, an “anti-war activist” who’s helped Julian with launching WikiLeaks and the WikiLeaks Party. He also arranged a trip to Syria to meet with Bashar al-Assad and even planned to open an office for the party there.

In recent years, Shipton has been seen regularly at Australian “Z-rallies” in support of the Kremlin’s war on Ukraine. Incidentally, Shipton got interested in Julian after he became famous in Australia – before that, he was almost completely absent from Julian’s life.

By 1987, Assange had found his way into the hacking community, and by 1991 he was “probably Australia’s most accomplished hacker”. Many of his hacking operations attacked the US and its “military-industrial complex”, including NASA and MILNET.

In 1994, he was charged with 31 counts of crimes related to hacking. He eventually struck a plea deal, pleaded guilty and was given a fine of 2100 AUD. He later described the trial as a formative period & as an experience that led him to start WikiLeaks over ten years later.

In December 2006, Assange published an essay that described WikiLeaks’ strategy and purpose: the group would use leaks to force organizations to “reduce levels of abuse and dishonesty”.Some of the leaks exposed widespread corruption and had a significant impact in some countries.

In April 2010, WikiLeaks released a video of alleged US war crimes in Baghdad in July 2007. In 2010, they released over 250 000 US diplomatic cables, an incident that later became known as the “Cablegate”. Allegedly, Assange was the one who helped to decrypt the data.

Assange published the leaks in their original form, without censoring any names. This put hundreds of dissidents in Afghanistan and Iraq at “risk of serious harm, torture and even death”. Some sources “disappeared” after the publication of unredacted documents.

A report told that the leaks put hundreds of Afghans at risk for fighting against the Taliban. To this, Assange commented that “Well, they’re informants,” continuing that “So, if they get killed, they’ve got it coming to them. They deserve it.”

In 2010, Assange’s associate, WikiLeaks’ representative in Russia and eastern Europe and raging antisemite, Russian Israel Shamir allegedly gave a list of “organisers, instigators and rioters, including foreign ones” to Belarus’ dictator Lukashenko, whom he greatly admired.

In 2012, it was reported that Russia Today (now RT) would give Assange his own talk show. On the show, Julian interviewed many anti-US and pro-Kremlin figures, including Noam Chomsky, Pakistani politician Imran Khan, and the secretary-general of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah.

During the US 2016 presidential election, WikiLeaks released hacked emails and documents from the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta. Cybersecurity experts stated that the attack on the DNC server was conducted by GRU, a Russian military intelligence agency. The Mueller report concluded that GRU used an alias “Guccifer 2.0” to share the content with WikiLeaks and others. The e-mails also gave birth to various conspiracy theories, including Pizzagate and Frazzledrip.

Assange has also been in contact with several figures close to Trump – in 2016 he communicated with Don Jr., and in 2017 with Roger Stone. He also suggested that a DNC staffer Seth Rich could’ve been the source of the DNC e-mails and that he was killed for this.

In 2016, WikiLeaks also received a massive cache of documents about the Russian government. The total size of the data package was 68 gigabytes, more than 50% of which hadn’t been published before. But “Assange gave excuse after excuse” to not publish them.

During the same year, Assange dumped a cache of files on Saudi Arabia. These documents exposed a Saudi man arrested for being homosexual, names of several Saudi citizens suffering from HIV & virginity status of many Saudi women.

He called it “not even worth a headline.”

WikiLeaks attempted to silence the critics in 2017 by publishing a “Spy Files Russia” dump which contained information on a Russian online investigation system SORM. The system had been exposed before, and the leak didn’t contain much of new information on how it works.

Assange was heavily involved in the Catalonia independence movement, and he was seen as the movement’s international spokesman. Russia was heavily involved in the project, and many Russian officials and former intelligence officers were involved in planning the movement.

In 2017, Russian diplomats held secret talks in London to assess whether they could help Assange flee London and travel to Russia. Four different sources claimed that the plan was supported by the Kremlin, and that it would allow Assange to travel to Russia and live there.

Currently, there’s a debate whether Assange is a journalist or activist. In my view, Assange’s actions have been highly unethical and he’s put thousands of innocent lives in danger. He’s also been extremely selective about which leaks to publish and which to withhold.

There’s also strong evidence that, like his father, he’s extremely anti-US and biased towards the Kremlin. His associates had strong connections with Russia, he planned to flee to Russia and even made a propaganda show on Russia Today back in 2012.

When asked about Wikileaks role as a whistleblower in Russia, Julian stated that Russia already has Kremlin critics such as Navalny and newspapers like Novaya Gazeta.

Big Mouth Never Shuts Up

Congratulations, you made it to the bottom.

 Can we go even lower?
As Louis Cachet would say – let’s find out………….

Dero Goi (ex-OOMPH!)

Ex-member of German Neue Deutsche Härte band OOMPH! Dero Goi has zero problems playing in russia – he loves it. Turning alt-right, antivax, into conspiracy theories seems like something quite common for our dear vatniks. No wonder why he has some success in russia.

Here’s a sum-up from a redditor :

  • in early 2018 he started getting sucked into alt-right/far-right stuff by watching Paul Joseph Watson videos

  • Dero went on another alt-right posting spree in 2019 that caused ticket sales for the London part of the tour to suffer (and was called out on it enough that a public apology was issued, which now I’m 80% sure wasn’t actually written by him but the management team, because it didn’t sound like his normal writing style)

  • sometime in late 2019/early 2020 he converted to Christianity, specifically the Pentecostal sect (but didn’t go public with it until late 2020 IIRC) and essentially got sucked into a cult

  • during the pandemic he was very vocal about being anti-vaxx (and he still is), to the point him being strongly anti-vaxx caused Chris Harms to immediately disband their side project Die Kreatur after a now-deleted livestream where Dero started ranting about the vaccines being some nanotechnology method of mind control (or something; he wasn’t making much sense) and Bill Gates

  • he also went on a highly racist rant in 2019 after the video for Rammstein’s “Deutschland” video dropped and the band had Germania portrayed by a black actress (for the longest time, the quickest way you were guaranteed to get him to show up in your comments was to mention you liked that video and/or the band and he would go off on paragraph-long rants that reek of major jealousy)

  • he’s also disowned all his past music and time with OOMPH! and Die Kreatur, stating that it is “Satanic”, and he’s claimed in interviews with German Christian YouTubers that during the past 30+ years until his conversion he was possessed by Satan. He’s also disowned his past with OOMPH! to the point that a few months ago he was selling off everything associated with it in an attempt to make enough money to survive the costs of living

  • During Pride month he really ramped up the queerphobia to the point of comparing queer people celebrating Pride to Nazi Germany

  • Ever since the war between Ukraine and Russia started, Dero hasn’t even bothered to hide the fact that he supports Russia and Putin, including making several trips to Russia while all this has been going on. Naturally, Ukranian fans are pissed–and even Russian fans are starting to get angry at him due to comments he’s made on social media.

  • At this point in his home country of Germany, the only person still willing to work with him is Chris Wolff, his partner on their What About Bill? side-project. He’s also done one (1) collaboration with Eisbrecher (the song “Dagegen”) since all this started that got major backlash, and I haven’t heard anything about them collaborating together since (aside from Dero writing a forward in a “greatest hits” compilation CD for Eisbrecher). Nobody else wants to work with him professionally anymore, and quite a few musicians are taking open shots at him. It seems like the only work he can get at this point is DJ gigs.

Even though he was touring Ukraine no later than 2021, he expressed nothing in public concerning russia’s invasion war of Ukraine – but still find the words for the moscow ISIS terrorist attack on Crocus concert hall.

13/06 Bratislava, Slovak radio concert hall ( Slovakia)
14/06 Prague, Underdogs (Czech Republic)
27/07 Fosen (Norway)

It all started with this.

On Friday 10 November 2023, Simone Salvatori, who we will now call Zimone, announced two special solo sets in moscow and saint petersburg, russia, right after dates in Tbilisi (Georgia), Almaty (Kazakhstan, but Zimone can’t spell it properly) and Istanbul (Turkey), Turkey being the only country in Europe where you can get a flight to russia.

What followed has been a shitstorm of a massive size to a point where Zimone deleted the announcement and issued a rather bad “apology” post, which is still regularly fueled by Zimone himself through his childish comments.

Here are some of his “best” moments of panic, insulting his audience and digging further down the shithole where he belongs.

"Z" shit

Some concerned audience members, from Ukraine and elsewhere, started out to point out certains posts that were liked by Zimone, including the famous Z post by Fabrizio Giannese, his good putinist friend from band Aborym. As well as other posts from Zimone himself (if someone has a screenshot of the one where he was mentioning “ukronazis”, monthes before announcing the moskal concerts, please deliver)

For his defence, Zimone replied that he “didn’t understand the post” – here translated from Italian to English. Nevermind that Zimone is Italian, apparently he can’t read his own language.

...and now we nominate Zimone for the award of the Biggest Douche in the Universe

Please remember these when you will read further down that Zimone never meant to be unrespectful.

Warsaw and Vilnius concert cancelled

The concert in Warsaw (Poland), scheduled just two days after on 12 November, was immediately cancelled by the promoter, as well as the concert in Vilnius (Lithuania) scheduled on 20 April 2024.

And what a nice idea from Zimone to immediately insult and threaten audience members and concert promoters. Since then he deleted all of his comments but here are some that have been saved.

Georgia/Kazakhstan/Turkey concerts cancelled

So, first things first, Zimone, if you read me, I know you’ll read me : it’s Kazakhstan. Not Kazakistan. That doesn’t exist.

Anyway, the promoter Pink Hearts immediately cancelled the concerts scheduled in May in Tbilisi, (Georgia), almaty (KazakHstan) and Istanbul (Turkey).

That’s only at that moment that Zimone dropped off the the russia dates, because he was obviously planning to profit off being in Istanbul to take a flight to Mordor, the nearest place where he could fly to russia.

That would be some kind of 'apologies' in a parallel dimension

“now I understand”
“I never meant to be unrespectful and offensive”

Well Zimone, you sure showed us how you understood and didn’t mean to be “unrespectful”.

It’s good to have that reply from Fabrizio Giannese, Zimone’s BFF, side by side with those very clumsy apologies.

“There is no ideology involved”

Yes, there’s no ideology behing all those anti-EU, antivax, antisystem”, anti-NATO that you post every day. Not a single bit of ideology. But you’re a rebel. But no ideology. But yes but no but yes but no.

Aftermath

So what do we learn : that Zimone is a narcisstic retard? Yep.

Here we have a little discussion between Fabrizio Giannese and dear Zimone (as well as with Roberto Alessandro Filippozi of italian webzine Darkroom Magazine, who did a veryyyy good review of the Donbass support compilation by our dear Eurasian Artists), which basically helped Zimone to get the famous video extract of Poroshenko about “the bambini of Donbass in cellars”. That is literally the video that he posted on his comment a few hours later to Veronica Anrathi’s posts quoted earlier. Zimone, it’s so nice to have friends who are slightly less retarded than you like Fabrizio, keep them close to you, you’ll need them when you’re clueless.

Congratulations, you made it to the bottom.

 Can we go even lower?
As Louis Cachet would say – let’s find out………….

Allerseelen

Allerseelen, from Austria, namely Gerhard Hallstatt, along with Marcel “P” Runde (Miel Noir, Uwe Nolte’s band Barditus and others) and Christien H, is scheduled to play at Menuo Juodaragis in August 2024.

EDIT 5 APRIL 2024 : Menuo Juodaragis has cancelled the Allerseelen performance.

Gerhard has been rather “shy” concerning his position about the invasion war of Ukraine by russia. But here are a few hints.

After the failed attempt of bombing Alexander Dugin’s car which resulter in the death of his daughter Daria, Gerhard posted many articled about it on his Telegram channel

Dugin’s position regarding the invasion of Ukraine is rather well known. Is it useful to go into that lunatic’s eurasist/russian supremacist positions again? For those who don’t know :

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aleksandr_Dugin#Stance_on_Ukraine_and_role_in_Russian_politics

Gerhard has been posting many hommages to Darya Dugina, mostly from pro-putin accounts.

Among these accounts that are regularly relayed are the channels of Haus Atlantis, Vladimir Tupin, the Suworow Institut, Intel Slava Z which all share the same views about russia and Ukraine, and have been extensively promoting putinist propaganda.

Gerhard also shared putinist propaganda on his twitter account, such as this post he retweeted regarding the fake news of Ukraine being responsible for the Crocus concert hall  terrorist attack in moscow.

Gerhard also promoted Götz Kubitscheck and Martin Lichtmesz on his Instagram account. Really nice guys as well, who don’t hesitate to push pro-russian and duginist narratives.

Also, bassist Marcel P, who also plays with Uwe Nolte who will certainly have his own article soon, plays in Miel Noir, a band that was featured on a compilation released by the “Eurasian Artists Association”, a pro-dugin/pro-putin label which has since released a compilation promoting the invasion of Donbass by the russian army.
